You're a good guesser Jeff. It took about 4 years in total to make the first cross and then the second cross. I wonder if anyone has had success making an even more complex hybrid. The laueana I used didn't come with any background information but it was just a typical bright red flowered plant...
It's an F2 hybrid between P. laueana and another species. First crosses of laueana are always purple in my experience but if you cross the F1 offspring, you get segregation of the traits. I find it interesting that the red color is still difficult to achieve; although, i have read that laueana x...
One of my ping hybrids is creating a red flower! It's not the crimson red of laueana but it's as close as I've seen yet. The flowers start out red and then mature to light red, maybe even pinkish. At the very least, it's the first ping hybrid that I've seen that has a true red color around the...
I intend to fix all the previous photos but in the mean time, here a few new photos.
P. "Sethos." Sethos, Weser, and Weser Fake are fairly easy to tell apart when grown under good light and when flowering.

Hey everyone,
i think it's time to get some trades going before it gets too cold outside.
Here is what i have to offer:
P. macrophylla (roughly 1.5-2 inches)
P. BCP Golden Eye (1 flowering size plant, maybe other small ones available)

P. Lautner 92/52
Hey, patrickntg, here is your p. agnata true blue x moranensis var alba
P. agnata True Blue
Another of my cross is blooming and it has an even more intense color. It's like a fluorescent pink with maybe a slight bit of orange. Certainly one of these plants will be cultivar worthy. It definitely has that deep intense color of P. laueana and it really stands out against all my other ping...
P. agnata "Ekuma" x emarginata showing a double flower.
P. rectifolia. Unknown origins but it has a habit of splitting into numerous plants when awakening from it's winter rosette which i have never seen in any other plant.
P. emarginata x cyclosecta
P. agnata x (moranensis x ehlersiae)
P. Site 1#2 x gypiscola (No idea who made this or what Site 1#2 is)

I don't think I'm the first to create an orange flowered ping hybrid but i'm certainly excited...

Some of my 30 or so hybrids I made this last year are finally flowering!

For Trade:
D. Andromeda plantlets (12, roughly 1-2.5 inch plants). The adult plants are roughly 5-6 inches wide! I can either ship them bare root or divided and potted.
I'm looking to expand my Ping collection mainly but i'm interested in virtually anything else i don't have. See my growlist...
I have at least 4-5 packets of 10 D. grievei gemmae available for trade. It's an uncommon pygmy that would make an excellent addition to a collection. I'm looking for any pings and dews that are not on my grow list but i'll consider other offers. PM me trade offers.
Thanks!
I have packages of 10 or more D. barbigera gemmae available for trade. I also have D. sp South Africa seeds available (50+ seeds per packet).
I'm looking for Sarracenia, Sarracenia seeds, Drosera i don't have ( D. intermedia x capillaris, D. x Nagamoto D beleziana, D x watari, ext), and any...
