ok and this time its a cape sundew and it has leaves that are brown on the tip and the rest is green are these leaves still alive? and also is spaghnum peat peat moss that is dried aor is it spaghnum moss and peat moss?

I recieved a whole shipment of Capes a while back who had all brown leaves with almost no green. I repotted them into a mix of 50/50 peat/perlite (The peat must be sphagnum peat or else it isn't suitable for CPs) Within weeks they put up new leaves and are now as healthy as can be. The rule of thumb is if it shows any growth it's still alive.

Yeah, just what Zac said. Just put your new Cape Sundew in favorable conditions and it'll come around.
