Hi all,
This kind of sad looking Drosophyllum is over 5 years old and has eight growing points. It sits on the front porch with little protection. It has been knocked of the porch and out of it's pot at least four times. Once it sat out of pot out for several days. I don't recommend this treatment, but it illustrates Drosophyllum can sometimes survive root disturbance.
This "youngster was started 3/05. It grows undisturbed in the back yard. It's leafspan is almost equal to the multi-growth"Old Timer" on the porch.
Good growing,
KPG
