Byblis liniflora
I went overseas and came home to find that this fella had germinated. It was a one-year old seed. The first pix was taken on 23 Dec 2005. The second is taken today, 29 Jan 2006.
Another seedling. Time frame: 1 Jan - 29 Jan 2006
This seedling germinated in tap water. Time frame: 10 Jan 2006 - 29 Jan 2006.
I found this seed just as it germinated. Time frame: 25 Jan 2005 - 29 Jan 2006. 4 days old!
D. sessilifolia.
The mother plant. The seeds. The first seedling (two shots).
Seedlings: Time frame: 13 Jan 2006 - 29 Jan 2006
D. adelae
All I had was two strands of root of 1mm thick. The original plant from Triffid Park kicked the bucket within days of arrival. From the roots I have these and all many other younger plants!
D. intermedia
So easy to grow that we kinda forget how amazing it can be. Vegetative proximis - asexual reproduction on its flower stalk!
