Collecting seed

imagine how excited i was to see a a shoot coming up from my favorite dew.

but, having experienced the horror of capensis spawn attempting to overthrow my ENTIRE darn TERRARIUM, i need a way to intelligently collect this seed so i can put it where i want it. i thought of maybe putting a tiny jewelry ziplock baggie upside down over the seed pods and leavin it there... would it hurt the plant?

I would do like what I did/do with my D. filiformis:

Before the seed pod opens, but is still pretty black then I would carefully tear/snip the seed pod off and open it to collect the seed.

Meaven,

You don't have to worry about lanata or falconeri spreading seed all over the place, as they are not self fertile. D. burmanni has been a problem at times with unwanted seed in other pots. I simply fold an piece of paper in half and shake the flower stalk when the pods blacken in order to collect the seed.
