Does D. Capensis need a dormancy in winter? If so what temps do they like? Its so stupid I haven't been able to find the answer to this but I was so convinced that they were tropical!

They are sub-tropicals and do not require dormancy. Winter temps should probably get no lower than the mid 40s F (average min winter temps for Cape Town). If exposed to too cold temps capensis will die down to the roots but usually grow back.
