One of the reasons I like to have a few Drosera around:

Holy crap! I would hate to have all those guys around. Are they gnats or mosquitos?

Little gnats or something related. It's funny because I never see these little things around anywhere else, so I almost wonder, do the plants attract these bugs that wouldn't normally be here? Or do I just never see them until they are caught? One of those chicken or the egg conversations.

'prolly fungus gnats. I had 'em really bad this summer, but I placed pings among the infested pots and the gnats were gone in about a month. :D
