No Gemmae Yet

I was looking at my pygmy sundews, which have been outside since the spring. I see some stipules but no gemmae. Shouldn't I be seeing something by now? We just had our first frost this morning. Will that kill the gemmae, if I had any?

As we all know gemmae production is induced by daylight reduction and temps....at least that's the general opinion. I will just say this: some species realy don't care if the temps stay in the 80 and they will produce gemmae as they get less hours of light. Just make sure you're bringing them in if too cold (below 35)

Well we had a light frost this morning. They don't look any worse for the wear. They're getting plenty of daylight reduction and temps.
