I have several Drosera madagascariensis which have grown long and scrambling. How to you trim them? Do they grow back from the roots or can you plant the green top part of growth to grow new roots?
NAN - With mine, I just trimmed them down to the media. They should come back from the roots. I also stick the green tips in the media as well. I did this about a year ago and had good success. Mine were starting to fall over into other pots they were getting so tall. Forgetting to water them also didn't help their appearance .
