A Drosera scorpioides gemmae had gotten in the Sphagnum top dressing of my Sarracenia minor 'Okee Giant' (thanks Andrew!). I peeled off the top dressing to do some maintenance. I removed the D. scorpioides to repot it. I got as much of the root as I could and have no idea of how much I lost. I guess the roots get around 16cm (6 inches). Centimeter scale next to the plant. Looks like I need to clean the ruler :D

Wow, a long root for such a small pygmy sundew.

Interesting, isn't it?

I've always heard they like tall pots.
