Late Bloomer (Somewhat Large Pic)

DrWurm

Californian in DC
Most of my pygmy sundews bloomed a while back, but this morning I woke up to this wonderfully perfect flower in my pot of D. "Lake Badgerup". I don't think I've ever managed to grab a pic of one of these when it's so perfectly open.

Oh, pretty. How big is it compared to the rosette?

Well, by the time I read that question and looked back at the flower (about an hour ago), it had already closed up completely. I would guess it was maybe a tiny bit smaller than the rosette, but they were pretty similar in size.

Congrats!
That really is a perfect flower....and photo!!!

Nice, mine was flowering too, but I left the pot outside and it dried up a little bit so all the large plants died, and I only have really small plants left, the flowers are so small though, with the little bit of red, hard to take a pic of, I tried

wow, that's a really beautiful flower. Great pics too. :)

pretty flower, nice shot

Very nice shot of the flower!

It's always too windy outdoors for me to take good macro shots. I'm too lazy and not motivated enough to make a light tent. Besides space is a limiting factor.

Incredible shots, BTW.
