Here are some random update pics of some of my plants.

The darlingtonia californica (yes I know they're ugly, it's Lowes' fault) and sarr purpurea ssp venosa are recent Lowe's rescues. Both have healthy new growth after a few weeks of coaxing them to not die. One of the darlingotnia's was actually in its cube UPSIDE down. What's worse, it didn't fall upside due to poor handling - it was planted in the media that way.

I've been feeding the purpurea betta pellets and the results are actually pretty amazing. I keep the pitchers half full of water and drop a few in ever couple weeks. The newest pitcher is huge compared to the others, which represents the start of the betta pellet feeding.

Filenames are descriptive.

Enjoy!

Congratulations with the fish flake experiment! All the plants look great.

Aww, it's like a cute family album!

Haha thanks. I can't wait until Spring; I can put all the temperates outside and make room for a few more tropicals/subtropicals.
