Lots of Sundew Pics from this year part 1- D. brevifolia, D. capillaris, D. regia DUW

I'm slowly sorting through all my sundew pics and have narrowed it down to the ones I like. I'm still in the process of sorting and uploading them, so I will be posting a few more times throughout the rest of the break. Here are a few of my favorites:

Drosera brevifolia from Hampstead, NC

Those are the most beautiful D. capillaris I have ever seen. D. capillaris has a sort of sentimental value to me because they were the first CPs I've seen in the wild. The ones I see in the wild are small and red, which is pretty cool, but yours look large and lush. And those pictures of the D. regia make me want to get one, but I hear they are really difficult to grow and I don't think I can provide the proper growing conditions for them. Yours seem very happy :)

Wow those are some nice and ... juicy! bright red dews! Awesome :awesome:

Very happy plants, thanks for sharing! You know, Drosera brevifolia is soooo sensitive to fungal problems, it's always refreshing to see such perfect rosettes. If you can grow this species this well, you would have good success with the Hirtella Complex members which are notoriously difficult. I'm currently trying to find a source for seeds and if I do they'll be yours.

Absolutely luscious drops of dew on mesmerizing rosettes of natural beauty.

Fantastic Drosera!

Gorgeous plants!

Now those are some happy plants, nice camera work too !

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone!
Tamlin, I appreciate your generosity- I would love to give that beautiful spcs. a shot.
Keep in mind that you still haven't taken my offer up yet- and I still have several seeds and plants with your name on them! ;)

I'm growing the D. brevifolia in a 4-inch pot in a pretty well-draining peat: sand: dead lfs mix. I'm glad I was lucky enough to avoid fungus thus far, at least.

Very nice Aaron, I hope my plants will look like yours some day. :-D That rego grew a ton!! Thanks for sharing this. I always enjoy your photos.
