I know there's a few threads kicking around about D. regia care, but I was wondering if I could get the latest info on care for this species. I've heard this plant is easy to care for, and I've heard it is hard.
Here's my understanding of how to grow it so far:
Humidity - not too picky
Temperatures - Max about 30, minimum around 0(light frosts in winter) (Warm days, cool nights)
Media - Something well draining and airy (equal parts peat/perlite/silica sand)
Water - pure (at least low tds), moist, not waterlogged
Fertilizing - it actually likes soil fertilization
Anyways, I would like to hear how other people are growing theirs, especially if you're from the Pacific Northwest (I'm in Vancouver). As this species is a mountainous one, I assume it can grow well in Vancouver's climate.
As always, thanks for your input!
