What would happen if I trim my Byblis liniflora?

Wolfn

Agent of Chaos
Greetings. I have a Byblis liniflora growing in my indoor terrarium. Looking good so far and it's been flowering nonstop for about two months. However, it's leaning and growing against the glass upwards and it's starting to get too tall for the terrarium.

What would happen if I trip the stem of the Byblis? Would it develop offshoots like a Nepenthes?

Nope, it wouldn't produce offshoots like Neps.

is that so Cindy? i've done that. in my case, i saw a renewed growth tip activated at the top. i've also heard from others about offshoots coming out of the sides. ???

Hmmm...I saw "trip" and thought he meant to bend it over the sides of the pot.

Then I re-read his title and it is "trim". If it is trim, then the answer would be an affirmative yes.
