Wow- those are amazing! Do you grow them outside? If not, how do you light such huge plants?! I love Byblis- they're so gluey lol. :awesome:

I've never seen Byblis get so tall!

I was always curious why B. Goliath was called Goliath, now I know!!!

That plant is massive...Also your toddler is quite admirable. What conditions do you grow your byblis in?

What conditions do you grow your toddler in? Lol

B. 'Goliath'
26" tall
6" across

B. guehoi
23" tall
11" across

Toddler
85cm tall
14kg

Growing Conditions
Sunny, lowland, high humidity, equator - SINGAPORE :-))

Those are huge!!!

I am not impressed. With a name like Goliath, it should have been able to contain that prey item....

Goliath already lost to David, a small boy. What's more...my toddler is a girl. The plant was lucky not to be squished/strangled/stomped by her. :-))

It is a pity that it is the only Goliath I have at the moment or I could have been able to get species seeds. So far, I've crossed this with B. guehoi. Hopefully the hybrid seeds will be viable and the offspring can be both vey tall and heavily branching at a early stage.
