I guess there isn't a whole lot of difference. But it was a heck of a lot easier getting good pics.

Well thank you. The tripod doesn't have the shakes like I do. So that helps..

as i have gotten older it has gotten harder to do the close up shots hand held. need to brace up against something if not using tripod
