The binata is the cutest drosera as a juvenile!

Anyone else grow this specie ?

I have one about 1 1/2" tall started from a leaf cutting a few months ago.
Yes, they sure are cute at this stage!

Yep, I've got a bunch, most of them grow outside for me. They're certainly nice, a few of mine are just putting up some flowers :D

i have a bunch very easy to grow from flower stem cuttings

I enjoy this species as well...actually had some pop up unexpectedly in a P. moctezumae pot. No flowers yet, though.

This species seemed like a good idea at the time, and then it started taking over the terrarium.... Those leaves go everywhere!

Wire man: hahaha yea i know, its hard to contain when its big! Do you trim them?

Mickey: flower stum cutting !??
Wow i didnt know that !
Working for every drosera species ?

I have to try that!

have one taking over a corner of the greenhouse all by it self....

D. binata go bust up the killer sphagnum

If that's a self-fertile plant it's gonna be all over the place in a couple years.

I gave my big plant back. We were running low on var. multifida anyways, so half of the leaves were turned into cuttings, and the entire plant went back to Meadowview. Several small ones popped up in the pot, though.

These plants are very easy to grow. I have dichotoma, multifida, extrema, and what may be a regular binata seedling. However, I think they might like more light than they get right now.

Yeah I have quite a few. They really are one of my favorite sundews!

Hi. I have a few different D. binata and was wondering how to tell what they are and how many different types of D. binata there are
