This one annoys me...it's sterile, and just about everything else matches being a hybrid...but the flowers do not echo the parentage at all

On page 17 is a photo of your possible brevifolia x anglica. Could be. Did it flower? I’m wondering how it looked.
That plant either died or turned out to be a pot-jumping spatulata from somewhere. Either way it's no longer around, and I haven't had opportunity to attempt the cross again.
