D. Scorpioides and Adelae blooming!

tommyr

Gardening freak!
3 year old Scorpioides and a 2 year old Adelae:

I love adelae flowers. The bold red and star shape just makes them stand out from other dews. Thanks for sharing

Beautiful! The red flowers of adelae are really unique.

D. adelae is an under-appreciated species, in my book. The flowers are uniquely beautiful and when the plants are grown in lower light levels, as they grow in the wild, they get huge. Nice pics!

Thanks all. Adelae is a big fave of mine and I've become real good at growing them.

You're the D. adelae king!

You're the D. adelae king!

LOL! Thanks. Trying to become a Mexican Ping king next like you and Joseph! Need more but it seems most of the popular places have little to none right now. Need to get another one or two Moranensis, hard to find right now though.

It's easy to be an Adeale king, she's maybe the easiest to grow.

Tom

Ironically, I am down to like 4 types of Mexican pings and no longer have D. adelae.
