Nice! I grew this one for three seasons, but couldn't get it to bloom.
 
I didn't do anything special. I started the gemmae about 4 months ago. I kept them under 10 hours of light until the equinox, then upped it to 12. Then I put them outside as soon as it was safe.
 
I've grown mine outside for over a year and out of maybe fifteen plants only one bloomed in the spring.
 
Interesting. Only 3 or 4 of the plants in a pot of probably 20 are budding for me.
 
This species usually flowers for me on the second year from gemmae.
