Gemmae Questions:

For my Scorps I tease them out and immediate place them on top of a peat/perlite mix then cover until sprouted. They are SUPER easy.

So far so good with covering the gemmae and uncovering when they first develop carnivorous leaves. The covers inadvertently create a circular moat. That makes watering easier and prevents jostling the young plants.

My Scorps are late this year at making gemmae.

My scorps generally produce gemmae around February, and only a couple plants out of the pot. I haven't quite figured that out yet.

I usually have some to sow by now but today I found only one of them making some gemmae. Very late for me this year.
