browning tips and pot questions

i can have pics soon,

anyways the plant is about a week from delivery and the tips are turning brown and i'm thinking i can be from to much light/heat.the temp is around 84°f i did repot it but they were already turning brown b4, the soil isn't that soaked i got a lil spoon full of soil and pressed down on it and not much water came out a drop or 2 and it seemed good enough. the light i have is, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AKKULI6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 not sure how close or far it should be from it and i have it in a small space so its somewhat close atm.

potting questions are, is this good enough for it? https://www.pinterest.com/pin/522206519271997739/ thats what i have it in without the lid on it atm. if that's not good enough i have this but its 8'' https://www.amazon.com/Fiskars-Aria...9&sr=8-42&keywords=6+inch+pot&tag=polnes02-20

i was thinking of buying this also https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WWDSNK6?th=1

The browning is probably just the plant adjusting. Do you know what kind of plant it is? That'll make a big difference in what to tell you.

No need for a bigger pot then. Those self watering pots aren't great anyway as they don't keep the soil wet enough for carnivorous plants. That light is also fine. It may be brighter than what the plant was getting before but the new growth will be adjusted to it.

so the leaves will die off and new ones will spring out adapted to the new conditions all borg like? and that terrarium i have it in will be good enough for it? without the top or with it? also how many hours of light and how far?

I would definitely leave the dome off of the terrarium. Higher humidity isn't needed, especially for a plant like a drosera capensis. I grow all my drosera about 6 inches from the lights and have them on a timer to mimic the natural daylight hours. At this time of the year that's from 7 to 7.

about the time and space, i keep the lights ty. and with the leaves will they die off completely and then new ones will take their place or can they recover? someone said it may work more on rooting as i just repotted it before it works on its leaves? ty for all the help i never grew anything so i have no clue with any of this lol

The leaves will not look like what they did when the originally came. At best they will stay the same as the are now but it isn't a big deal if they die off. Drosera pretty much will go back to producing leaves as soon as they settle in. Repotting has little effect on them in my experience.

its down to two leaves and the tips browning but the rest of leaf is trying to go for the light. does it take awhile before it grows new leaves? so far it doesnt look like any have started. what are some things to look for that i should worry about?

also i was thinking of getting this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0194XIA96/ref=nav_timeline_asin?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 would the be ok with drosera capensis as i would have t keep them together in same conditions.

1 more this. is there a reaosn why this flytrap is 100$ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LEP1IH8/ref=nav_timeline_asin?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
