Capensis germination?

  • Thread starter Purperea

A tray I had with some d.capensis seeds has produced what looks like a small white shoot, very thin and about 2-3 mm long.
Do capensis seedlings look like this? It's been about thirteen days
Thank you :)

The small size of sundew seed often makes it difficult to tell if you are looking at a very new seedling or something more random (fungus, other seeds that came with the medium, etc.) Time will tell but you could get a better look with a magnifier, perhaps. Good luck!

Ok thank s alot :D
Could seed germination trays with mold on the soil still be placed with other plants? Can the mold be spread to the plants and can it hurt them?
Thank you

It is possible for mold to spread if conditions support it. You might want to treat those moldy trays with a fungicide of some sort, just keep them separated or both. Fungus is one of the main reasons that growers fail when sprouting cp seed. Seedlings have little resistance to it.
