Mold on sundew flower scapes!

Well, the title and description says most of it. My burmanniis are flowering, and same with my spatulatas. Mold took over the burmannii bud when it was about to bloom, and it took the spatulata earlier. How do I exterminate it?

It sounds like the humidity is too high, with not enough air circulation. I suggest you reduce the humidity.

Possibly swabbing the scapes with a qtip dipped in alcohol might help, but you will need to quickly spray it off. This may or may not work.

Good news is both species will likely form new scapes, and with the lower humidity have a better chance of successful flowering.
