Byblis liniflora

Hi All,

I have grown byblis liniflora from seed as an anual twice. Once I stratified the seed, the other time not. I can't remember which gave me better germination.... so:

Has anyone else here tried either method and with what success? Which do you find preferable in terms of germination rate?

thanks!

Hi Noah

I've grown B. liniflora for several years and I have never cold-stratified my seed. I always get good germination from my seeds and other growers I have given seed to have reported good germination too.

B. liniflora is a sub-tropical/tropical plant and never experiences low temperatures in habitat, quite the opposite, so it shouldn't need it.

Cheers

Vic
