I just got some Drosera dielsiana from Marco Kramer in the Netherlands. Shall I just sprinkle it onto some peat mix? Would it help to cover it if it's in a humid greenhouse?
Thanks
And I can't find Marco's adress to thank him, if anyone knows it, please PM or post.
High humidity is needed for germination of droserae. I dont have a greenhouse so I can't say much there, but ziplocking the pot in a plastic bag is the way I go.
In my experience, it is not necessary to cover it in a greenhouse. Drosera dielsiana is one of the easier species to germinate. If the seeds are fresh, they should germinate well. I've had also successfull germination without covering outside the greenhouse on a window sill.
