Problem

OK, so i have a vft, and it has fungus gnats, which i am not too worried about. However, i am germinating some D. Rotundifolia and need to know if i should care about the gnats

Are the seed in close proximity to the flytrap that is infested with them? Fungus gnats thrive in any wet soil...they are almost unkillable in any soil unless you sterilzed it in a soil oven. They don't bother CP's or seeds but what does is fungus which I would be far more cautious of than fungus gnats. The only time I would be aware of fungus gnats if the infestion is great...then they could be eating rotten roots which would be a sign to take action to save your plant.
