What sort of climate do you live in? Unless you live in say, Alaska, you can grow VFTs and many sundews outside, at least in summer.
Sundews generally require a more moist (moister?) soil than Venus Flytraps. A good choice would be Drosera capensis (the Cape sundew). Capensis is probably the easiest cp to grow and looks great when well-grown.

DON"T REPOT THE FLYTRAP!
you Could plant them both together, but you do need more humidity to get the dew on the leaves.
The sundew can 'eat' just about the same stuff as the VFT...mosquitos, flies, gnats...anything that is small enough to 'stick' to the plant
