Speaking of gemmae!

I got the D. ericksonae x pulchella today! Thank you very much. Some are planted in the 8" PVC pipe and others in the 'community pygmy pot'. I'll post pics once they get growing!

Hey! Got the D. palecea ssp. roseana yesterday. Planted and ready to grow. Thank you Dustin!

I planted half and donated the other half to the BACPS raffle which was today. Just spreading the love!

My D. nitidula ssp. nitidula isn't producing gemmae yet

What are the conditions they need to start producing gemmae?

Thanks alot for the very very kind offer.

Jamie, send another SASE. The following species are still available.

D. paleacea spp. roseana
D. paleacea spp. stelliflora (!LIMITED!) 2 people, maybe 3 max.
D. ericksonaea X pulchella lots and LOTS of this hybrid
D. pulchella is almost ready for gemmae to be harvest
D. nitudula spp. nitudula is still produing and not yet ready like the pulchellas.
D. scorpioides...what can I say, rare and very limited. I can take 2 people on scorpioides that are confident in pygmy species, it quite a rare plant and not very common, so I wish to only send it out to confident growers.

Carcinos, lower the photoperiod, and temperatures. Generally gemmae are made in the cooler weather.

neil, sure I can do IRC's.

Hey, here's a pic of my D. palecea spp. roseana gemmae sprout from Dustin. I didn't have very good luck with numbers, but these look like they're going to make it. There are actually two of them together here. This is six days after planting:

If I may, I would like to try

D. Palacea spp. Stelliflora
D. pulchella
D. nitudula spp. nitudula

These plants are so neat! BTW, I got very good germination (is this the correct word for gemmae?) on the D. Palacea spp. Roseana.

I know that there are multiple varieties of D. Pulchella based on flower color, coral flower, pink flower, orange flower etc. Do you know which color this is?

nitudula is out...it was limited and I am lucky if I have some left, I already promised some to another person way before the gemmae season and before I posted this topic, so if you do not get nitudul I'm sorry, I only have 1 plant of it so gemmae was and is EXTREMLY limited.

D. paleacea spp. stelliflora is also limited. If you do not recieve this species I am also very sorry. It seems the plant you have the least quantity of are the most popular!

So what should I put in my request? What do you have left?

Thanks!
