It pays to be patient!

Over a year later I checked the pot where I had sown seed of Drosera graomogolensis. Seed failed to germinate, but I never give up on a pot of sown seed. There before my wondering eyes is a single thriving seedling! O happy day!!!

This is the second example of a year wait for the Brasilian species to germinate. I had subsequent germination of D. montana tomentosa close to a year after it was sown.

Be patient with your seed!

WOW . A whole year . I think I would have gave up or forgot to water after a few months.

One thing for sure your allot more patient then I am.:)

If my sown pots don't germinate in a month or 2 I pop them into ziplock bags. This maintains the moisture and humidity without further attention from me, other than an occasional checking.

too bad only one for now, i would kill for one
