The first seed to germinate from the list (Ten types of seeds - How to germinate) is a spatulata kanto.

What should I do now? Keep the whole container (I used plastic food container and it's sealed) closer to lights now or wait for more to germinate first?  I noticed there's already a little algae growing at one corner of the container.

Whee!!! I'm so excited!

Hi Cindy,

You should place the pot closer to the lights now.  I am pleased that you have had some germination!

Good Growing!

P.S. You will need to transplant into a pot that drains when the seedlings get 3 or 4 true leaves. Hopefully the algae will hold off until you do this.
