ohhh... strange little fellow! It does not seem to be a 'particular' phenomenon restricted to a flower by a mutilated flower bud or such, since you can see that all the flower parts are 4-merous (4 petals, and you can see 4 pairs of stigmas; on the left flower, since we can see it better). Perhaps its a mutation, such as polyploidy/tetraploidy? Anyone else on this idea? Very interesting though!
