Drosera madagascariensis

NickHubbell

It’s a trap!
I just received a packet of Drosera madagascariensis seed and I would like to know if there are any problems associated in getting the seed to germinate?

I am planning on using a 50/50 mix of peat/perlite with a top dressing of chopped sphagnum moss as the planting medium.

Thanks,

This Drosera is fairly easy to start on seed. Make sure the sphagnum is chopped finely, as these seedlings can grow in nooks and crannies. Just sprinkle over the soil and keep moist and warm with tons of light. Good luck-Zach
