nitidula x pygmaea

Hey,  my nitidula x pygmaea flowered.  It was a pretty flower one day and a trap the next.

Here is a picture of the gooey leaf.  In the second picture you can see the now closed bud.

Neat. I hope my dews perform 'vegitative apoximis' sometime.

I bought this neglected bowl of CPs that had an unID sarracenia, an unID sundew, and a p. primulaflora in it. The sundew had a flower stalk with plantlets on it like that. It died though.
 
It's fairly common with Pygmy species, especially the natural hybrids. Usually though it is a complete rosette: this appears to be a genuine modified sepal. The sepals are really just modified leaves as this photo proves.
 
Cool! Now what would be neat is a plant with all trap\sepals!
