Drosera nitidulla x pulchella

NickHubbell

It’s a trap!
Well, I haven't been paying much close attention to my pygmy dews in the basement. My D. nitidulla x pulchella has been flowering for months now and shows no real signs of stopping. I just happend to look into the terrarium today and noticed this odd flower.

Yes, I know thats not a flower. Just thought it was neat. This is the first time I have had a plant form on a flower scape.

Some guys have all the luck!

That's too cool! How long has that new dew been living that way? Can it live on the flower stalk all its life or will you have to separate it and pot it up? Thanks for the pic.

Nick,
I hate to tell you this, but your not going to get any seed from that flower
