D.indica-how to start?

mabudon

Metal King
I got some seeds unexpectedly and have had a heck of atime finding out how to start them, the only thread on the species didn't seem to include the basic info...
I was going to try 50-50 peat-silica sand and otherwise follow Tamlin's article, would that be alright??
Someone told me that they may need stratification, and mentioned asking adnedarn citing him as the "Indica Master"...

Any specifics would be much appreciated, and thanks for reading this

I use a 1:4 peat:sand mix and sow the seed on the surface. They need to be warm to germinate, above 70 but higher is better. I don't keep them on the tray, just top watering every couple days. While I do not recommend it they can tolerate light frost but are best treated as sub-tropical/tropical plants.

Thanks again,Pyro, funny thing you would be the one to answer my question
