Safety of imidocloprid on drosera?

Have any of you used the insecticide known as imidocloprid (often sold as Merit or as one of the many lines of Bayer insecticides) on Drosera species? Is it harmful to them?

Just wondering.

Thanks,
Corey

I used another Bayer brand (Lizetan) with the same chemical without any harm on different species of Drosera, Utricularia and Pinguicula. So far no problems at all.

Cheers,
Jan

Thanks for the information, Jan.  Although I have not yet noticed any insect problems on my plants, I just wanted to make sure I had something that would be effective and relatively harmless to the plants in case of emergency.  I use imidocloprid as my insecticide of choice on my non-CPs.

Hmmm... I wonder how my question was posted twice?  I only pressed the submit button once.  In any case, I apologize for the confusion.

Thanks,
Corey
