Heat stratification?

Hello,
I'm completly new at droseras. Is heat stratification necessary for pygmys? If so, can anyone, please, instruct me how to do it step-by-step?

Just to be sure, are you taking about their gemmae or their seeds? If it's their gemmae, then no, they don't need any stratification. Just lay them on the top of the moist peat and sit back 'til they grow. Can't tell you about the seeds though.

I was thinking about seeds. In particular D. occidentlis ssp. occidentalis and D. pulchella

might be best to start off with gemmea or live plants with pygmies if you have never grown any before
