Drosera dichotoma

A friend asked me about a controversy concerning D. dichotoma. I am not familiar with it. Does anyone know? Does it have to do with taxonmic classification?

IIRC there is no D. dichotoma. i believe it is an unpublished cultivar of D. binata.

I am not sure what you mean by "controversy". The D. binata complex has not been completely described (taxonomically) and the ICPS database lumps all forms (except two registered cultivars) under a single name, Drosera binata. See
