D. adelae

Ya know that "playing ''possum" phenomenon that most of experience with this plant? Is that its way of doing a summer dormancy or is it totally unrelated?

For me, it is a slow but steady grower.....until after flowering....then it almost dies to nothing and about 1mo later comes back to life from the top.

The good thing is that when its leaves die back, a bunch of baby plants pop out of the ground and get enough light to grow....at which point I can repot and get more D.adelae!

Thankfully, I've never had mine "spontaneously" play possum....but it seems like what you experience and what mine does after flowering could simply be short rest periods.
