Stratification

Does D. anglica (alaska), D.rotundifolia (alaska), and D.intermedia (North Carolina) seeds need stratification?
 
Guaranteed the first two would benefit (likely actually require but ya never know, seeds are funny) from it
 
I would also stratify D. intermedia.
 
I would wait until spring to sow these temperate species and let them stratify over the winter.
