    Cross pollinating tuberous species

    Curious.. I have D. macrophylla and D. macrophylla ssp. monantha both in flower. Is it possible to cross pollinate the two to make a tuberous hybrid? ??? And for future reference, is it possible to cross pollinate completely different tuberous species like erythrorhiza and macrophylla?
