Hey, terraforums. I want to mount a small bromeliad to some cork bark and add it to my gecko terrarium. Are they safe for crested geckos? Can bromeliads handle distilled water? I know that tillandsia can't take distilled water. Would a mounted bromeliad be ok being sprayed with distilled water...
I went to the importers yesterday since they just got some Madagascar stuff in and got myself into a bit of trouble heh. My new additions are a trio of Paroedura androyensis, a pair of Ebanavia inunguis, pair of Lygodactylus kimhowellii, and a pair of Matoatoa brevipes. These are just the...
These are the first reptiles I've ever owned. I went to the Reptile Expo in White Plains, NY yesterday and went home with 3 crested geckos that I did a naturalistic setup for and a leopard gecko, currently in a simple 10g setup.

I love the unusual, and a couple of years ago I bought a group of strange hatchling Red Eared Sliders. They are now 2 years and 3 months old (and over 4 inches). They are natural deformities that I’ve raised up past the sensitive stage. Now they are available to you!
They...
I figure there might be enough commonality of interest to give this a go. I raised a leopard gecko years ago and want to obtain one or two for my classroom. I have several nice (LARGE) Sarracenia, both species and hybrids, that I could trade. Additionally, I have something like 1600...
Hey guys it's me again.. You still remember my drunken snake dealer? The one who brought a bag of vipers, literally? Well lucky for me he hasn't forgotten about me during my 4-month absence.
He had a deal someplace nearby so he decided to drop-by my new petplace and give me a welcome home gift...
Hello all,
I used to have a few CP but it's been a long time since I've kept any. I've recently had some fruit fly problems and the idea of CPs catching all the flies was all the excuse I needed to get back into keeping CPs! I still haven't got any yet, but I hope to change that soon!
I've...
Hello all! I'm Nate and I'm new here. I've never kept carnivorous plants before, but I got it in my head that it's something I'd like to try so after a bit of research I went out (to the trusty internet) and ordered myself some different Nepenthes plants. I expect they'll arrive tomorrow, which...
Hello everyone! My name is James im 22, I just moved to Florida from ny to finish up my biology degree. While im down here I have been contemplating starting up a small home nursery. Currently I am working with some nepenthes, tillandsia, orchids, staghorn ferns, and succulents. I figure I would...
Hey Guys,
I have been reading the forum for about a month now and find it very informational. My main hobby started in herptology from the age of six and has blossomed for the past seven years. I keep various species of Rhacodactylus, some Dendrobates, Pacific newts, Leopard geckos, and a pair...
Hello all. I am new to CP's for the most part. I have a had a few VFT's in the past. I live in SoCal and grow about 11 species of CP's SO FAR. Lol.
My background is mostly in reptiles and amphibians. Mostly geckos, anoles and Big Eye Tree frogs (Leptopelis). I currently have more than 75...
My wife and I were cleaning some animal cages last night when I realized we live in a zoo. Haha. Here's our list, what do you have? How many is too many?
1 Dog -Lhasa-poo named Daisy
Severus the California Kingsnake
Koopa the Russian Tortoise
3 Hermit Crabs
2 crested geckos - Brownie and...
Went to feed the baby, and hold backs (one's I thought I may want to keep for myself for future breeding projects) Leopard Geckos and could tell right away something was seriously wrong.
I opened up the cabinet doors and felt the heat just rolling out of the cabinet. Somehow the thermostat must...
I'm going to be redoing my Madagascar giant day gecko's terrarium soon. It's 55 gallons, gets misted daily. Are there any Nepenthes that would do well in a lowland terrarium of this size with a foot long lizard? Any other carnivores?
I've had him for a month now, still very shy. Hides all day, only comes out when the lights are out. It's fun holding him though, he's so soft :) I was thinking about breeding crested geckos, but if I never get to see them, I don't want to do it.
Here's what I have to trade:
Rhacodactylus ciliatus- All sizes, sexes and colors.
Rhacodactylus auriculatus- Striped, some with orange, tons of them.
0.0.1Rhacodactylus ciliatus X chahoua- 75% chahoua
2.0.5 Rhacodactylus leacheanus henkeli -Bayonnaise
0.1.0 Rhacodactylus leacheanus henkeli - Nuu...
