I need care pointers on all three of these species, especially on seed germination which is pertinent at the moment. I recently got seeds of them and I'm up for a challenge!
Thank you all, I appreciate the help,

Just a FYI for anyone shipping into CA, last month we shipped 3 boxes (2 with just Cephs, and the third with 2 Pings + 1 Anubus nana), well the Cephs arrived safely but we got a call from the CA Department of Agriculture concerning the 3rd box saying that one of their dogs alerted on the box and...

I was playing with this for KendraSue's post and it's sort of a spinoff of what we think others look like. I was having so much fun with it that it kept growing. lol But I think my mind has blown a gasket I can't think of more.
These are the ones that came to mind easy so I thought everybody...
Hello all. I used to be a lurker here back around 2005. I remember signing up for some free seeds and that's how it all started. I do see some familiar names are still here.
I used to have a decent garden. Variety of traps, dews and neps. I even had several lovely pots and re-pots of...

A couple of months back I received a few plants from a miniatree.com, a nursery in Tempe, Arizona.

First up is Bursera hindsiana, currently in a 6" pot.
I really like the...
Hey guys. I'm still alive. I've just been taking a break from the forum for a little while. I thought I would share my latest project. I've been working on getting a new aquarium up and going. I used to have several aquariums a few years ago, but lost interest in the hobby and sold all my...

Hey folks,
I know at least of few of you are into planted tanks. Hopefully I can get second+ opinions on the lighting for a tank I'm rebuilding for my fiance. Her 20gallon long is a bit overgrown and over populated. Luckily, I have some supplies stored here to do a relatively easy upgrade for...

I found this sucker on my Sarracenia minor x psittacina yesterday. I identified it as Phaneroptera nana - Mediterranean Katydid. It was introduced to California and can be found in the San Francisco and Hollywood area. Sightings have been reported in New York too. I fed her to my S. rosea...
