Hello,
I recieved this plant labeled as "sp. 'Zimbabwe, Chimanimani Mnts." I posted a pic awhile back in the Drosera forum, and a few of you thought that it was a natalensis. Now, the plant flowered so hopefully that will clarify things once and for all. Here's some recent photo's...
I just received in the mail, seeds for D. brazil and D. natalensis.
I've never heard of these varieties... can anybody give me some information on origin, cultivating and if possible... pics?
Thanks
Charles

This is my Cobra Lilly, you can see it is still growing well. Sorry for the light gold overtone, it's kind of not possible to get the plant out from under the...
I grow this plant since two years. The seed is viable -> no hybrid.
I looked into Diels Drosera book and the flower and leafs seems to show a Drosera natalensis.
What do you believe?
P.S. : (Please do not post: " It looks like a spatulata" It is definitively not spatulata - look at the flower...
South African Drosera at times stubbornly will not conform to published descriptions. This plant was received as D. madagascariensis: it certainly is not. By virtue of the hairy leaves, I would be inclined to accept D. natalensis as a possibility, but the flower bears strong affinities to D...
Hello again,
I am rooting some N. Tobaica cuttings. I checked today and they are starting to root. The best is already going out, but I have two small ones left. The cuttings are small, but already have pitchers. I would like to trade for Neps, but will listen to offers of anything not on...
Last year I was given a pot of tiny D. cuneifolia seedlings and this stray plant appeared in the pot. It is 1.5 inches across and I think it is probably D. natalensis or something similar, but I'm not sure. I know I should wait until it flowers, but I don't like 'unknowns'!

I just aquired D.Nitidula ssp.x Pygmae W.A.Coast form and a D.Natalensis
They were free so I haven't researched them before can someone tell me about them?
On the Natalensis I've never heard of it, is it known as any other species?
I also have a D.Dichotoma "Giant" when is the dormancy?

Hello,
This year, i will try , if it is possible at all, to identify my unknown Drosera. It would be great, if you could tell me your opinion on the following plant. Here are the pictures :
I think, it could be Drosera natalensis, especially when i look at the seeds...

I have been around and around with this plant, received as D. natalensis which ID was confirmed by Robert Gibson. It seems very atypical to me if it is D. natalensis (there is only so much to see in a photo without a flower!. Recent photos of Debbert's new species novae D. afra are...
Well, I do try, but I make mistakes too. The Drosera echinoblasta I sent out should be Drosera echinoblastUS. Please update your labels, and put me in for another pieing at the First International PFT Picnic, whenever the heck that is.
Other mistakes include D. burmanii: should be D. burmannii...

In my latest conversations with Robert Gibson and Dr. Schauler I have learned that this plant might not be natalensis in the strictest sense. With new information they provided I went back and re-examined my plant. Based on seed length and floral color, I now place this as intermediate between...
