Hi!
Can anyone please tell me how to distinguish between Drosea ascendens, graomogolensis and villosa ? By looking on Fernando Rivadavia's pictures ( http://www.mcef.ep.usp.br/carnivo....sa.html ) i suppose the following :
Drosera villosa is getting really big with upright leaves (similar to...
Might as well watch the new episode of south park while this downloads... I decided to classify this months gallery.

I put this post some where else but no paid attention to it and I would really like an answer. Please some one help.
My VFT is looking pretty $%&tty, it has black blotches on almost all the petioles and traps, only one leaf is almost perfect. From what I have read this is a fungus,(is this...
Any idea what this is? I obtained it as D.dilatato-petiolaris but I'm really not too sure. The petioles appear to be ground-hugging while photos I've seen of this plant have upright petioles.
D.lanata - weird growth form! I'm really itching to cut the crown in 2 to see if they grow into 2...
Hi,
Look at this indica. It has a nice big flower and if you look at leaf in the left side of the picture you can see one leaf that rolled twice around its prey (Amazing, what a hungry plant). At the right you can also see a dead butterfly trapped by the plant.
Another interesting thing i find...
Spidermites, Spidermyte, Spider mites, Spidermights.
(the above for the 'search' feature).
I thought I was going to have to dump all of my CP'S and sterilize everything and start over, until I researched the critter and got some expert advice on this procedure. I am so happy with the results...

I just got a Symplocarous foetidus, or Skunk Cabbage. A bizzare NA aroid which grows cabbage like leaves at the ends of long petioles in the summer but in the dead of winter feb/mar when the foliage is died and the plant is buried in snow it sends up these blooms (not my photo but hopefully next...
Hello,
well, after about 2 months, I have seen a VERY LARGE differance in the growth of one of my flytraps in the one plant terrarium™. This flytrap was dwindling, but now it is very...how should I say this?...large, green, and "plump" looking (by plump I mean longer, wider, and thicker...
There are no sundews kept in my highland Nepenthes terrarium but today while I was doing watering I noticed a glint of red light in the carpet of living NZ sphagnum moss on the top of the N. hamata pot. I see that a tiny sundew about 2 cm across has appeared in it. Have any of you had this...
Greetings everyone! I purchased an unknown Nep refugee(I call it a refugee because it was in the
dark recesses of the garden department at Lowe's along with many other sickly CP's), for a dollar.
Unfortunately, the top two new-growth leaf petioles had been broken off and the plant was an olive...
Having 3 VFTs already I never wanted any more but today I found some VFTs with traps 2" in size and petioles about 5" long. I bought one which has long thin petioles which stand erect and another which has long wide petioles which lay pretty much flat. I fed em both tonight with a fat housefly...
Hi,
I have a tuberous Drosera which I can't identify.
- It has a single erect, undiveded stem (about 15cm tall, maybe it can get bigger)
- it didn't produce a basal rosette
- the petioles are about 8-10mm long and arranged one "left", followed by one "right" (I don't know the English word for...
