Up for auction is a basket of the Queensland 'Sisters':
- D. adelae - a very large & mature plant
- D. prolifera - two mature plants (currently growing semi-wild in the lower regions of one of my tanks)
- D. schizandra - a small plant from some root propagation babies.
- It is not often that...
Still in need of spiralis/graminifolia, different locales of D. ascendens, and I hoard D. schizandra.. so that's always an option as well.
Always open to offers of whatever though..
Only looking to part with about 20 of these. Here is HALF of the container..
I have a BUNCH of D. graomogolensis, and a couple D. schizandra to spare.
Looking for D. graminifolia (D. spiralis) or whatever it's called now.
And some other stuff, I forget. Feel free to shoot me any offer..
Can post pics with enough requests.
Been needing to find something larger for my D. schizandra collection. And today I found just the thing..
Growing conditions can be kept exactly the same, just on a larger scale.
This is the new container. Had to remove the light, since it didn't work. And removed the base, since it wasn't...
Things are looking fine, so I thought I would show off my propagation and labelling efforts...
U. pubescens "Serra Caraca", finally getting established.
U. rostrata, from some location or another. Still establishing from the CZ.
My FAVORITE! U. blanchetii. It is like a fine grass, so...
I am looking for these two sisters. My adelae got attacked by fungus gnats and hasn't quite bounced back. I would perfer a vigorous growth adelae that's been grown under low light( long green leaves). But will take any.
If you have these please pm me so that we can work out a trade.
This is a bit of a strange request, but I have found myself in need of some rather "beginner" plants, and I hoped that some of the growers here might be able to help. I don't want any established plants, but rather leaves or unestablished cuttings. What I have in mind...
Attending this open house is becoming an annual event for some of us and I am guessing that others in the TF community are aware that it was/is this weekend. For the benefit of those who might not have been able to attend for whatever reasons I wish to have a thread here where pictures can be...
So here's the dilly..
I can no longer afford to run my AC in the GH anymore.
Our electric bills are averaging $350 a month.
I knew as soon as I hit the button to turn off the AC, everything was going to change.
After a serious emotional breakdown this weekend (because that GH is my life)...
Up for auction is a small Drosera schizandra, one of the three Queensland sisters. This species is rarely available but imho, is one of the most impressive of all sundews. Here is a pic of one of my plants a few years ago:
Additional pics in growlist.
..... and here is a pic of the plant being...
As the title notes, I'm looking for small (2-6") plants of N. vogeli & N. lingulata. I prefer SG but would consider T/C.
For the right plants, I will consider offering:
- Heliamphora - species including H. uncinata, huberi, pulchella (different locations), heterodoxa, nutans & possibly collina...
I find that the take-out containers from Swiss Chalet (a Canadian chicken restaurant) make ideal mini terrariums for Drosera schizandra. I just put in some LFS and a bit of live moss and a few schizandra divisions, add enough water so there's a few mm in the bottom of the container, put the lid...
N. Rafflesian LOC: Alata
N. Giant Ampullaria
N. Giant Ampullaria Green
P. Emarginata X Esseriana
P. Moranensis “A”
P. Rotundiflora X Moctezume
If anyone has any leads on these species please pm or just leave a message. I don't have...
