I've been experimenting with growing Nepenthes hydroponically since March 2015, so for about a year and a half now. I'd like to share my results in this thread, and then give some details about my method. Thanks to TF member knuckles for sharing with me his experiences growing Nepenthes...
Noticed one of my N. ventricosa x (thorelii x aristolochioides) looked funny, so I took a closer look...
Its interesting to note the amount of "drool" these pitchers have been producing, note the ants are congregating midway and further down on the pitcher body, thats because the entire...
Add your name to the list if you're interested in growing N. (thorelii x aristolochioides) X (Splendiana x Rokko) seeds, which were harvested 2 hours ago. There are 12 packets, with 75-100 seeds in each packet, which will be sent to the first 12 people who sign up. After you sign up, PM me...
After a long pause growing plants I recently started againin January 2016. Hopefully the spring will allow me to ramp up slowly and see what species I can grow outside without much trouble.

Howdy folks, I am very excited to offer a lot of these seeds away for giveaway. I am doing this giveaway on behalf of the magnificent thez_yo whom bred this exciting cross herself on her balcony of beauty in sunny San Diego.
The mother: N. thorelii x campanulata
The father: N. platychila...
I am putting my last packet of seeds from this cross up for auction. The female parent is the Exotica remake of N. 'Rokko', or "thorelii" x maxima, and the male parent is my SG (inermis x singalana) x mira, which gets tubby, deep red pitchers with a wide, ribbed peristome. There are...
Two N. ventricosa x (thorelii x aristolochiodies) are in a northeast facing window and haven't been pitchering. I looked over the temp chart and my day temps are on the low side, usually around 70F and the nights could definitely be colder, again usually around 70F. Also curious to know how the...
Up for auction is a generous pinch (let's say at least 20 seeds) of N. (thorelii* x campanulata) x (ventricosa x inermis) seed.
The thorelii has an astericks because when I bought the plant, the real thorelii hadn't been properly described, so .. it might not be the 'real' thorelii. The...

I have 2 packets of freshly harvested Nepenthes seeds for SASE: N. splendiana x ("thorelii" x alata Kondo). Not going to be a stunning hybrid by any stretch, but if you're new to growing Nepenthes from seed or are just looking for an easy windowsill plant, then these are for you. Both parents...
I don't get it. Several of the entries don't even have photos. There is no such thing as N. x platychila, this is not a nothospecies with an "x" preceding its name, it is a full on species, Nepenthes platychila.
And, the name is N. thorelii x (x trusmadiensis), not N. thorelii x xTrusmadiensis...
The International Nepenthes Grex Registry (INGR) was an idea conceived and developed in an international forum conference on the internet forum www.pitcherplants.proboards.com in the later months of 2006. In August of the next year the proposal was presented at the Sarawak Nepenthes Summit 2007...
So late last year and into early this year I gave away hundreds if not thousands of hybrid Nepenthes seeds from hybrids that I was able to make because of pollen donated from both this community and a few others. The "donated by" refers to who gave me the pollen that made the crosses possible...
I finally got around to putting organizing a bit and putting together a trade list. Please take a look and EMAIL (ellisonk001 at Hawaii dot rr dot com) me if you would like to work out a swap. USA only.
I am primarily interested in nepenthes, but will consider all reasonable offers.
