Need help with N. Lady Luck, my first Nepenthes

Hello everyone. I was hoping you guys can help out with a few questions I have about my Nepenthes 'Lady Luck'. This is my first nepenthes. I ordered from a guy online, because the pitchers looked a really cool shade of red and this plant is supposed to do well indoors. Amazon says I ordered it...

    Aphids on my vft.

Afternoon, terraforums. It appears that my vft's have aphids. How the heck do I kill these things? I've heard about mixes involving canola oil. Are there any insecticides or mitacides that are safe for CP's that would work? Thanks.

Hi Everyone, I have been given the opportunity to have a Polytunnel built in a family members yard as mine is way to small for a setup like this. The tunnel will measure in at: 4 meter width and 8 meter length. I might divide it into two segments, one for none-carnivorous plants and one for...

I have a vft that I want to repot, but I couldn't find any plastic pots that seemed suitable. There were clay pots that looked like they would work, but I'm concerned about the minerals from a clay pot being dangerous for my vft. are there any problems with clay pots for vft's? Splitting down the rhizome?

Hey all, I have a vft that I was planning to split down the rizome today. What should I use to cut it? Would a pocket knife do? Should I sterilize it with rubbing alcohol first? Is this even a good time to split it? I'm in Ohio and spring is still a week or two away. Thanks for all the help.

My Lowe's VFT has this strange deformed trap. I took this pic with my phone just now and circled the trap in question. Is this just a mutation, or a sign of something wrong?

    Vft splitting?

I want to try propagating some of my vft's this year via splitting the rizome. When's the best time to do this? How big should the plant be? Also, is tissue culture possible without a laboratory for doing so?

    B52 vs king henry?

I've been looking into expanding my vft collection and I've narrowed it down to either king henry or b52. I like the growth style of king henry (tall and "bushy") but they don't seem to have the nice red that b52 has. What do you think? Photos are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Fly trap with traps on flower stalk.

Last summer I found a vft with a flower stalk that had traps instead of flowers growing on the stalk. I'm afraid it didn't make through dormancy. Has anyone else seen this phenomenon? Later that summer it produced normal flowers.
